Side is a town and district of Antalya Province in the Mediterranean region of Turkey. As of 2010, the district population was 73,707. The town is located on the Mediterranean coast, about 55 km east of the city of Antalya. The district covers an area of 1,834 km², and the town itself has a population of 23,878. The town is best known for its ancient ruins, which include a theater, an amphitheater, and a temple.
