5-Day Pamukkale, Ephesus and Cappadocia Tour by Plane

Day 1: Istanbul to Denizli, Pamukkale Tour, and Kusadasi Overnight

Embark on your 5-day adventure with an early morning flight (between 6:00 – 7:00 am as per your e-ticket) from Istanbul to Denizli airport. Upon arrival, you will be picked up and transferred to Pamukkale to join your full-day guided tour. Starting around 10:45 am, visit the Red Spring Waters at Karahayit. Then, drive to Pamukkale and explore the ancient city of Hierapolis from around 11:30 am. Highlights include Necropolis, Roman Baths, Domitian Gate, Latrina, Oil Factory, Frontinious Street, Agora, Byzantium Gate, Triton Fountain, Cathedral, Apollon Temple, Plutonium, and Theater. At 12:30 pm, enjoy an hour of free time to discover the natural beauty of Pamukkale. Optionally, you can swim in the Pamukkale Antique Pools (at your own expense). At 1:30 pm, rejoin the guide and walk through the Pamukkale travertines (White Cliffs) from top to bottom, without shoes and socks. At 2:30 pm, savor lunch at a local restaurant before visiting an Onyx Factory for approximately 30 minutes around 3:30 pm. At the end of the tour, around 4:00 pm, you will be transferred to your hotel in Kusadasi for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Ephesus Tour, Transfer to Izmir, Flight to Kayseri, and Cappadocia Arrival

After breakfast, around 8:30 am, join your full-day guided tour of Ephesus. Visit the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world, and the well-preserved Greco-Roman City of Ephesus. Enjoy a lunch break before exploring the House of the Virgin Mary, Isabey Mosque, and the quaint Sirince Village, known for its wine tasting and production. Spend an hour exploring the village on your own before the tour concludes around 4:00 pm. Transfer to Izmir airport for your evening flight to Kayseri or Nevsehir through Istanbul. Upon arrival, a representative will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel in Cappadocia.

Day 3: North Cappadocia Tour and Overnight in Cappadocia

For an additional option, you can book an early morning hot air balloon ride and enjoy breathtaking aerial views of the valleys. Please be aware that this activity comes at an extra cost.

After breakfast around 9:30 am, you will be picked up from your hotel to join the full-day tour of North Cappadocia. Your tour will start with a visit to the Devrent Valley to see the unique fairy chimneys. Next, you will visit the Pasabag Valley (Monks Valley) to see the mushroom-shaped pinnacles. After this visit, you will drive to the city of Avanos. After lunch, you will visit the Zelve Open Air Museum in Cappadocia. The museum features a series of carved caves and ancient churches, providing a glimpse into the region’s monastic history. Finally towards the end of the day tour before returning to your hotel, you will be able to visit the natural castles of Uchisar. After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel at approximately 4:00 pm. The rest of the day will be at leisure.

Day 4: South Cappadocia Tour and Overnight in Cappadocia

After breakfast, around 9:30 am, embark on your full-day guided tour of South Cappadocia. Visit the Red Valley and hike approximately 5 km through the Rose Valley (Gulludere Vadisi). Next, explore Cavusin Village, known for its houses and churches of Christian Clergymen. Break for lunch around noon, and then drive to Pigeon Valley (Guvercinlik Vadisi). In the afternoon, visit the Kaymakli Underground City or Ozkonak Underground City, where early Christians lived. The tour ends around 4:00 pm, and you will be transferred back to your hotel in Cappadocia.

Day 5: Cappadocia – Istanbul

After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Cappadocia and transfer to Kayseri or Nevsehir airport for your morning flight back to Istanbul. Flight time depends on availability. Upon arrival at Istanbul airport, arrange your own transportation to your hotel or final destination. This marks the end of your 5-day tour.

• The order of the itinerary is indicative and subject to change, but all visits described will take place.
• This is a regular group tour, but if requested at cost can be provided as a private tour.
• The regular group tour has shopping stops included in the tour.

• On flights luggage allowance is 15 kg per person for checked in luggage. For carry-on, you can take up to 8 kg per person. One carry-on is allowed per person.
• The normal arrival time in Istanbul is between 8:00 – 10:00 pm. If you are planning on reserving your plane back home that same day, we recommend you book a plane ticket from 1:30 am onwards, to avoid missing your flight.
• Please note that your return flight from Kayseri/Nevsehir to Istanbul will arrive at either the New Airport in Istanbul or at the Sabiha Gökçen Airport, depending on the availability of flights on the ticket purchase date. Upon arrival at Istanbul airport, you must arrange your pick-up service from Istanbul airport to your hotel in Istanbul, as this transfer is not included as part of your package tour services with us.

• You can book up to 2 days before (Istanbul local time) if there are still places available. If less than 2 days before start of your requested tour date, please contact us by email or phone as it would be a last-minute booking that will need to be checked for availability before your tour reservation is confirmed.
